The word “Sembawang” was derived from an existing residential place in Singapore called Sembawang Drive. The founder went there on 2005 for a career shift and international exposure, then there was Sembawang Trading.
It was chosen by the founder as it represents above and beyond non-traditional company name. At the same time, it is very Asian.
We are known to many importers already around globe with this name.
